Sound performance by geo
geo is a project by visual artist Gerome Gadient. Besides streaming speedbient vocals and megabyte stretches monthly via hkcr.live, geo is part of various Basel-based artist initiatives, both on- and offline, such as Periphery Serpentine, a multidisciplinary publisher of contemporary sound.
His work as geo focuses on sampled music, reverberated compositions, and sonic experiments, that incorporate field recordings, noise, harmonic instrumentals, and text to create hypnotic and nervous landscapes.
