Florian Graf / FG Artists Service Group, Vagabond, 2018
In Vagabond, Florian Graf acts out the role of a vagabond, in which he aimlessly lingers within a two-hundred-meter radius of the institution. Graf’s performances play ironically with common perceptions about the role of the artist – running the gamut from dreamer to spiritual guide – articulating these in the form of hirable services.
5 – 6 pm
Florence Jung, Jung59, 2018
5 – 5:15 pm
Lea Rüegg & Raphaela Grolimund, reich und schön und kunst, episode 1-3, 2018
Lea Rüegge and Raphaela Grolimund’s reich und schön und kunst, episode 1-3 is a musical in three chapters loosely modeled on a soap opera, using pop cultural references to reflect on how young artists should act with respect to the art world, seduction, and success.
5:30 – 6 pm
Stefan Karrer, HORIZON_X, 2018
Stefan Karrer presents his latest lecture-performance HORIZON_X, a Mediterranean fantasy. The whole body of water of the Mediterranean, and everything it held within rose from the sea floor and soared up into the cloud, an enormous wave organism with the submarine communications cables forming its backbone! Hear the echo of the things that came to fall, disgorged by the oscillating creature, piling up in the sand of the Mediterranean Desert.
With kind support by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and Fachausschuss Film und Medienkunst BS/BL.
Daily and over the whole duration of the exhibition Marta Margnetti presents her new work Dispositivo di protezione (protective device), 2018, and every Thursday to Sunday Jérôme Leuba presents battlefield #132, 2018. An overview of all performance times of the exhibition can be found here.
