hand and face is a performance and installation by Gregory Hari, based on a photograph taken in 1995, showing Hari on the balcony of his family home. The performance re-enacts a ritual of lavation, to clean the surface and the inner life of the artist.

The Performance takes place in room 5, following the Artist Talks on the occasion of the Regionale 17 exhibition Beyond the Real.
