On 23 October 2017, the author Ilma Rakusa conducted a writing workshop for curious and aspiring young writers aged 14 to 20 at Kunsthalle Basel. The project was based on the exhibition The Cold Horizontals by artist Shahryar Nashat (29.9.2017 – 7.1.2018) and took place in cooperation with lyrix – Deutscher Bundeswettbewerb für junge Lyrik.
