In Humanities, his exhibition at Kunsthalle Basel, Neïl Beloufa constructed a complex network of digital and physical spaces in which narratives develop. At various stations of the installation Growth, visitors created their personal success stories by indicating preferences on topics such as technology, ecology, health, and society. In doing so, they intuitively selected from over forty objects those they considered valuable—each decision subtly influencing their overall value. In collaboration with EBB, Kunsthalle Basel offers a unique opportunity to acquire exclusive editions of these exhibited objects. The value of the artworks changed during the exhibition through a dynamic pricing model directly tied to the number of “likes.” After the exhibition ended, the final value was documented, corresponding to the price listed here.
