Our Werkstatt turns into a stage! 
Join us for balmy summer evenings in the Kunsthalle Basel yard, as part of the Werkstatt Sessions, featuring live sound performances.

7–10 p.m.
Werkstatt Sessions with free entry to our current exhibitions

BYOB: bring your picnic blanket, favourite drinks and snacks, and settle into the laid-back atmosphere.

8–9 p.m.
Sound performance by Miao Zhao

Miao Zhao is a Chinese-born musician and noise artist. She has been engaging in performance, experimental practices, and discourse since 2018. Under various aliases, she has toured extensively across Europe, Asia, and Southeast Asia. For this Werkstatt Sessions, Miao lets the evening unfold through no-input mixing, acoustic instruments, and monologues that live within devastation, humour, and isolation.
