Dies ist das zweite Kapitel eines fortlaufenden Projektes, dass die klassische Retrospektive auf den Kopf stellt: Die Bulgarische Performance-Künstlerin Zhana Ivanova (*1977) steht noch ganz am Anfang ihrer Karriere und zudem richten wir unseren Blick bei dieser Ausstellung in die Zukunft anstatt zurück wie es üblich wäre. Die Retrospektive entfaltet sich Kapitel für Kapitel über die kommenden Jahre hinweg und nimmt erst im Laufe der Zeit Form an. Für dieses Kapitel werden wir Ivanovas allererste Performance, Borrowed Splendour von 2007, wieder aufführen. Diese Arbeit offenbart die Grundlagen für Ivanovas wiederkehrende Verwendung von einfachen Requisiten und Handlungsanweisungen, um die alltäglichen, aber oft unsichtbaren Normen gesellschaftlichen Verhaltens aufzuzeigen.
